I was so happy with the treatment for my dog Sven today. The staff were all wonderful. Caring and excellent with him during his visit. Relaying his issues to me as well as informative on his options plans to make him better. Thank you for the fantastic service!

A couple of months ago my dog swallowed 2 of my roommates tampons, so I brought him here to induce vomiting. I was very distraught when I arrived-- crying, shaking, all of those things. I was immediately consoled by the front desk employee and nurse. The vet was also a sweet young lady, and reassured me throughout the whole process. Everyone was so incredibly kind to me and took the best care of my boy. I cannot recommend them enough. These people truly care not only about the pet, but also the pet's owner. Thank you so much CVETS for helping my baby!

I just wanted to share my appreciation for the staff and Dr Genade at cvets for taking care of my cat which ultimately resulted in having to put her to sleep. The care that they showed was second to none and I appreciate all your efforts.

I didn't have a great experience at the CVETS in West Columbia. They didn't acknowledge the critical condition of my dog and made us wait an excessive amount of time while they treated all of the other patients, including the ones that came in after us. By the time we checked out, all of the nurses were sitting idle at the front desk. My dog was less than 48 hours out of having multiple grafts stitched on each eye, and each eye still fighting bacteria, fungi, and stromal melting. Not to mention, as we were at the facility, she was having an active GI incident happening due to her oral medicine. Yes, I only needed an emergency refill from them, but judging by looks and sound, anyone would easily identify her as the most critical patient in the room. I ran out of one of her eyedrops unexpectedly and was forced to shuffle her around in the 95 degrees heat to multiple emergency facilities in search of an emergency refill on her eyedrop medications so that I could keep up the medication schedule or face dire consequences. After I had waited in the triage room for an hour, I called the front desk to try to help her understand that my dog's situation is critical and we needed to be seen so that we can go ahead and go maintain her medication regime and literally prevent her eye from exploding again. The person on the phone reminded me, twice, that I had left the emergency CVETS, and she insinuated that by doing so I forfeited any kind of priority. Her tone was slightly scolding. To that person I would like to say that we were encouraged by the Northeast CVETS to come to your facility to possibly be seen sooner. To the entire staff, I would like to say that my dog had stitches in her eyes, eyes that for some reason keep forming holes and threatening perforation. Just having her out and moving her around put her in an emergency situation. If another patient with a similar situation comes in, I hope that you will treat them with the urgency that they require.

A big thank you to Dr Myles McAtee. Our miniature Schnauzer experience an emergency situation this past Sunday evening. Dr McAtee was amazing, professional and quick to respond to help our pet. I'm pleased to say he is doing so much better, thanks to his treatment. In fact the entire staff at CVETS were awesome. Also, we were treated financially fair and they didn't take advantage of the situation just because it was an after hours weekend emergency. Hopefully, you want need an emergency vet but if you do this is the place to go.
